In case anyone cares, and you might not...

Last semester, as whoever read our journal then then will know that I was recently chosen as an intern at Viz, and that my time there ended along with the semester.

Recently, however, I was contacted by my old boss asking me to write freelance!

Can you believe it? ...probably not. :XD:

Well, I did write the article. And against all odds, it was accepted. I'm not sure which details are confidential; however, I somehow doubt that there'll be any problems with telling you that I've written AN article, LOL.

Oh, and on a side note, this is probably known to all FF9 fans out there, but there's this amazing vocalist who did some VERY lovely vocal versions of a couple FF9 songs. My favorite is You're Not Alone. I've become an overnight fan of the music, so I'm now curious about the actual gameplay - maybe I'll even scrounge up the cash to buy an copy of FF9 from the scalpers on eBay. (I'd only read the Wikipedia page before. ^^;)

Oh yay, you've discovered her, too. I adore her rendition of Rose of May (Loss of me; Beatrix's Theme). My all-time favorite FF9 song, and lovely lyrics that fit Beatrix perfectly~ :heart:

:D I like Rose of May too. I'm not at all familiar with the characters, although I intend to remedy that at the earliest date.

Yes, although I have discovered her through no fault of my own. Ego was the one who pointed her out to me.

She has such a beautiful voice, I almost wonder if she's an alias for a celebrity. Not that Susan Boyle didn't prove that 'amateurs' can't have beautiful singing voices, of course. ^_~

Who knows? We like her stuff, and that's all that matters in the end.

Coincidentally, I'm playing FF9 again. If you're wanting a thorough experience, be prepared to research like crazy. One major suggestion: get a map to help you in the Chocobo Hot and Cold game.

Thanks for the heads-up. If there's a lot of easy-to-miss backstory, side-quests and minigames, or if those things are inordinantly hard to do/beat without help, I'd want to know.

Gamefaqs has a wealth of information. I have a binder full of things I know to have on one side of where I sit, and my official strategy guide on the other side.
